As a business we are strongly committed to both providing information to the public about the content of the video games we sell in a responsible manner, and to ensure we support online gaming safety for children and minors.
To this effect, we have introduced a number of measures:
When available, our products show an age rating label on the product page in the ‘Game Information’ section. These age ratings provide guidance to customers, and parents in particular, to help them decide whether or not a product is suitable for a child.
Why aren’t all our games rated?
We provide age rating where it is available to us. Some independent publishers do not submit their games to ratings organisations. If a game is not rated, then please use your own judgement on suitability.
Feel free to consult the official age rating organisations for guidance:
- Pan European Game Information: https://pegi.info/
- Entertainment Software Rating Board: https://www.esrb.org/
We have recently introduced age restrictions on our store. We now require the date of birth to be completed at account registration. Existing customers, who had left this field blank in the past or entered an invalid date, will be prompted to enter their correct date of birth when they next log in.
It is a priority for Green Man Gaming to ensure that any content which has a minimum age recommendation is not available to view (or purchase) by children under the stated minimum age for each product.
If you are under the age of 16, you might want to consider asking a parent or guardian to set up an account on your behalf, to make purchases for you on our store.
