Starfield Release FAQ (Please Read)
We are currently experiencing larger than usual support queries, as such please ensure you have read the following sections before contacting our support team as your query may be answered below
When will you receive your key?
Steam and Xbox keys for both the Standard Edition and Premium Edition of Starfield have been sent out to pre-purchase customers, please check your emails and the 'Your Purchases' section of your account on the Green Man Gaming site for your keys.
Will you get 5 days early access?
Everyone that pre-purchases the Premium Edition of Starfield will receive up to 5 days early access (as stated on our Starfield Premium Edition product page). The up to 5 days early access is not available with purchases of the Standard Edition.
Can I upgrade from Standard Edition to Premium Edition?
It is no longer possible to upgrade.
Will you be able to pre-load the game?
Pre-load is now available on both PC and Xbox, but please be aware the game will only be available to play from September 1st for Premium Edition owners, and from September 6th for Standard Edition owners.
Will you receive the pre-purchase bonuses?
GMG guarantees that you will receive the pre-purchase bonuses that are listed on the GMG product page - for both editions of the game this is the ‘Old Mars Skin Pack’ in-game bonus skins.
Why does Steam not show that you purchased the Premium Edition?
Once the game is in your library Steam defaults to only saying the name of the game and not the edition, but you can view which edition you have by checking your Steam Licenses here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
