Early Access Pre-Purchase FAQ
What is Early Access for Pre-Purchase games?
This means customers that purchase a game or certain edition of said game prior to release will be granted access to the game before the official release date, generally this is between 3-5 days but can and will vary.
How do I know Early Access is included?
This will be advertised on the Product Page for any applicable games, please check the description for this information.
When will I receive my game key for Early Access?
Keys will generally be delivered to coincide with the start of Early Access, however this varies between games. If a game is set to be released 6th June, but has 3 days of Early Access for customers that have purchased the Deluxe Edition, then keys will be delivered on 3rd June.
Please note that due to time zone differences this could be 5th, 6th or 7th June depending on where you are located in the world and what time the Early Access begins, this is purely an example case.
Is pre-load included?
Pre-load is included if the publisher has announced this and we have advertised it on our product page, this is often not announced until very close to release date and pre-load generally begins 48h before release, please check the publisher's website for more details on potential pre-load availability.
I activated my key on Steam but it still shows the release date, why is this?
This is because that is the official release date, once the Early Access time slot has started you will be able to download and install your game, this time will vary between games so please check the publisher's main website for the exact time.
