GREEN MAN GAMING ”BLACK FRIDAY” SWEEPSTAKE (the "Sweepstake") OFFICIAL RULES

These are the official rules (the "Official Rules") that govern the relationship between Green Man Gaming Limited, TC Group, 6th Floor Kings House, 9-10 Haymarket, London, SW1Y 4BP ("Sponsor") and you, the Entrant (as defined in Eligibility below) in relation to the Sweepstake.

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

By entering the Sweepstake, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

Green Man Gaming reserves the right to cancel or amend the Sweepstake or the Official Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Green Man Gaming’s reasonable control. Any changes will be posted within these Official Rules. A copy of the Official Rules may also be obtained by contacting [e-mail] by email.

The Sweepstake winner will be drawn from all Eligible Entrants (as defined below) into the Sweepstake between 00:01 UTC 17 November 2023 and 15:59 UTC 1 December 2023 (“Sweepstake Period”).

acknowledge and agree that you will provide at your own cost and expense the equipment, Internet or other connection charges, required to enter the Sweepstake. Green Man Gaming makes no warranty that the Sweepstake can be accessed on all personal computers, games consoles, smartphones, tablets or other devices (each, a “Device”, or in the plural, “Devices”), by means of any specific Internet or other connection providers, or in all countries. You are solely responsible for any third-party costs you incur to enter the Sweepstake.

In the event of any dispute regarding the Official Rules, results, entry, and all other matters relating to the Sweepstake, the decision of Green Man Gaming shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

ELIGIBILITY

Sweepstake is open to all persons who complete one of the Entry Requirements detailed below before the end of the Sweepstake Period.

Sweepstake is void where prohibited by law.

Employees and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings or spouse, regardless of where they live, or persons living in same household, whether related or not) of Sponsor and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes and the entities supplying the prizes herein (collectively the "Promotion Entities"), are not eligible to participate.

Green Man Gaming assumes that by entering the Sweepstake (you warrant that) you are aged 18 or over or, if you are under 18, that your parents have consented to your entry into the Sweepstake and these Official Rules.

Except where prohibited by law, by entering the Sweepstake, you hereby grant Green Man Gaming the right to use your likeness, name and Steam Profile Identity for promotional purposes.

Green Man Gaming reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Official Rules.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Green Man Gaming is not responsible for any service outages, website errors, maintenance periods or other technical issues that result in an entrant's ability to enter being impacted.

In order for an entry to be considered eligible (“Eligible Entries”) it will need to have been received via one of the following methods and within the Sweepstake Period.

AUTOMATIC ONLINE ENTRY

Entrants will receive one (1) entry for every purchase of an Eligible Product they make via the Green Man Gaming store (available at: https://www.greenmangaming.com/) during the Sweepstake Period.

Entrants are limited to one (1) entry per 24-hour period for the duration of the Sweepstake Period. Additional entries beyond the allowed amount will be invalid and not considered. 

For the purposes of this Sweepstake, an Eligible Product will be considered as any full game, downloadable content or season pass, on any platform sold on the Green Man Gaming store. The purchase of Gift Cards, Memberships or Subscriptions, or In-Game Currency will not be considered eligible.

ALTERNATIVE ENTRY METHOD

No purchase is necessary in order to enter this Prize Draw. Entrants may alternatively choose to enter the Sweepstake via the following method:

Form Submission

(1) Provide the following information via the entry form available here:

• Your name;
• Your email address;
• Your telephone number;
• Confirmation that you wish to enter the Sweepstake and have read and agreed to these Official Rules.

Form submissions must be received before the end of the Sweepstake Period to be considered eligible. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person per 24 hour period.

PRIZES

The winner of the Sweepstake (“Winner”) will be determined by drawing one (1) Entry at random from all Eligible Entries. There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner.
The odds of winning the Sweepstake depend on the total number of Eligible Entries. Green Man Gaming is not obliged to reveal the total number of Entries in the prize draw.

PRIZE TIERS

Grand Prize

One (1) Winner will receive the following prize:

• Green Man Gaming Store Credit to the value of £720 (or local currency equivalent), as detailed in the Prize Specification below.

Green Man Gaming will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes if any, that apply to prizes. Prizes are offered “as is” with no written, express, or implied warranty. Winners will be notified by email within fourteen (14) business days of the prize drawing and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release within fourteen (14) days of notification. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize and/or where applicable an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release is not timely received, is incomplete or modified, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected from remaining valid, eligible entries submitted.

Prizes are non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. Green Man Gaming reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

The Winner may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Green Man Gaming reserves the right to use the names and Green Man Gaming identities in any publicity both on paper and online. Some jurisdictions do not allow the requirement of a publicity release, so the above may not apply to you.

Any personal data relating to entrants will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s consent. Please see the Green Man Gaming Privacy Policy for further details. Data relating to entrants will be retained by Green Man Gaming for a reasonable period after the Sweepstake closes to assist Green Man Gaming to operate future competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Sweepstake.

By providing Green Man Gaming with your personal data you consent to Green Man Gaming transferring your personal data to countries or jurisdictions which do not provide the same level of data protection as the UK. If Green Man Gaming does make such a transfer it will, if appropriate, put a contract in place to ensure that your personal data is protected.

GENERAL

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY THIRD PARTY TO CIRCUMVENT, TAMPER, DISRUPT OR DAMAGE THE CONTEST ENTRY PROCESS, GREEN MAN GAMING WEBSITE OR TELEPHONE SYSTEMS, DEFRAUD OR GAIN AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE, ENGAGE IN UNSPORTSMANLIKE, DISRUPTIVE, ANNOYING, HARASSING OR THREATENING CONDUCT, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE FAIRNESS, INTEGRITY AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST, WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST AND MAY CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. GREEN MAN GAMING RESERVES ALL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES), TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING THE POSSIBILITY OF CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Entrant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Green Man Gaming,  affiliates, subsidiaries, its business partners, prize providers, and promotion and advertising agencies, and directors, officers, employees and agents of any and all of the aforesaid, and any other organizations related to the Sweepstake, from and against any claim, damages or liability due to any injuries, losses or damages to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, enjoyment, ownership, possession, use, misuse or inability to use any prize, or participation in the Sweepstake or a related activity, whether under contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or any other applicable sources of law, including, without limitation (i) any condition caused by events beyond Green Man Gaming’s control that may cause the Sweepstake to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstake; and (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstake.

IN NO EVENT WILL GREEN MAN GAMING BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS OR PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST, WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY ARISES FROM ANY CLAIM BASED UPON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT GREEN MAN GAMING HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Green Man Gaming assumes no responsibility for any administrative or typographical errors in the course of operating the Sweepstake or in the Sweepstake Official Rules. Green Man Gaming reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstake in whole or in part, in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Sweepstake is compromised, without liability to the entrant. Green Man Gaming reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or Winner(s), as determined by Green Man Gaming, in its sole discretion. The Sweepstake is subject to these Sweepstake Official Rules and all applicable national, federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. As stated above, the Sweepstake is void where prohibited or restricted by law. By participating in these Sweepstake, you acknowledge that you have read these Sweepstake Official Rules and the Green Man Gaming website Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them and by the decisions of Green Man Gaming, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstake. The Sweepstake and Official Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Where the Sweepstake is accessed from Scotland or Northern Ireland, this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts or the courts of Northern Ireland respectively.

PRIZE SPECIFICATION

The Prize will be delivered in the form of one (1) £720 (or local currency equivalent) Green Man Gaming Store Credit Voucher. 

The Grand Prize value is calculated based on the winner being able to purchase one (1) full-price video game release (approx. £60 value) each month for 12 months but no such restrictions will be placed on the redemption of Prize credit.

A Green Man Gaming account will be needed in order to process the redemption of the Prize.
